That's what a painting studio would sound like today. Just marketing stuff.

Paint, screenprinting, sculpting, knitting...

Oh, and makeup... painting on faces.

Just back from the total failure Spicecorps where they don't even let you in the door.
What?
yeah, they have the doors blocked. You have to wait in a really long line (40-50 people, goes out the door) to sign a waiver to get in eventually. You can only get in if part of a tour. I asked about Spicecorps and they said they'd not heard of it. Total chaos, and totally overbooked. Sounds like if you got there early enough you could get in, but getting there 25 minutes in, it was closed off to entrance.
Here's the Pittsburgh one.......

Ha, if you press j or k it moves up and down posts. Kind of funny.

Neat, I'm going to use that now.

Exposed a disaster of a company, told everyone his CIO was utterly incompetent and demanding insanity and.... runs and hides.
-
It definitely is a CIO either getting kickbacks or just trying to hide and pretend he knows IT and letting a salesguy do the job. I can't figure out why people post obvious things about corruption and then act surprised when it gets pointed out - especially when it is the key factor around which the actions to take next depend.

What if the CIO in this case is the auditor company? The company doesn't have any trusted IT decision people.... so they hired the auditor to tell them what to do. Sounds like a corrupt auditor.

You mean what if the CIO is actually a salesman being called a CIO? Then obviously that would change things and just make the CEO to blame directly.
But the CIO would still be lying, there is no excuse for what the CIO has said.

No, it sounds like they got a salesman and called him an auditor. We can't know, I'm just saying what is the most likely sounding thing.
But it's a problem if you have a CIO and don't trust him. Why have two IT people on staff, one given a CIO title, and you don't' trust him, at all? I mean clearly they can't trust him, but it's obvious that this isn't simply "we can't hire good people." They knew enough to come to SW to ask questions, so they know how to get help. They are choosing not to take that help any further, though.
