so I get an email from a well known clothing company to look at their stuff online.
I go and look at the stuff.
45 minutes later I receive an email from said clothing company thanking me for dropping in and taking a look.
don't know how I feel about that?Really?

That is the point of tracking links. Why is this a surprise?

don't know how I feel about that? They are just being polite and following up. You used their link in the email, I suspect.

No, none of this is a surprise, it's easy to understand why & how it's done. The thing that unsettled me (not quite the term I'm looking for) was how quickly the follow up email arrived.
Gave me a real feeling of "we're watching you". -
Downloading some ISOs onto a new install of a kvm host.

Apparently dell is parting ways with Cylance. They are still supporting cylance customers but they are moving to Crowdstrike which I haven't heard of before
What was your AV pre attack?
Has it changed now?Did you ever discover how you became infected?
It was Cylance before and I think we may be moving to Crowdstrike. How hasn't been shared with me yet
THat's crazy, Cylance for some reason seems to say they can detect this very type of infections but hey it happens. Crowdstrike well then, It is a known Next Generation AV but haven't dealt with it much.

Gave me a real feeling of "we're watching you".this should be even less surprising - it's 100% automated.

THE POWER OF COLD BREW COFFEE COMPELS YOU!!!! Well.... me.
-
I'm at home today (car in the shop), so I'm hyper-caffeinated and cleaning.
-
@RojoLoco some of these new guys don't know what cold brew means in your case though. Don't you have some insane process for making the strongest coffee possible for yourself?

Good point... I'm talking about cold brew coffee. And yes, somewhere on the recipe thread is my process spelled out in detail. This batch is a new brand of coffee, already coarse ground for cold brew or french press. I'll find the Amazon link in a bit.
-
Here it is, 12oz coarse ground coffee for cold brew, medium roast. Saves time (already ground right and measured out for a gallon) and tastes great.

Cold brew coffee recipe:
In a 1 gallon glass carboy (or other beverage conveyance) combine 12 oz of coarsely ground coffee beans (medium roast or lighter) with 1 gallon spring water. Park it in the fridge and wait at least 5 days, 7 or more is best. Shake gently every day or so. Strain into glass containers through 3-5 layers of cheesecloth or muslin. Keep refrigerated, add milk and sugar (simple syrup) as desired. Hold on to your ass, because this stuff is like rocket fuel.
-
@bnrstnr Jeebus! Most recipes call for 12 to 24 hours.... A week? I'm tempted to try it though.....
-
@RojoLoco How long does this gallon usually last you? How long would guess that it stays good in the fridge?
