Trying to work my way back to handling bourbon...drinking Jim and ginger right now...baby steps...
LOL... Being that I live in Kentucky now, I feel that I should be drinking and liking bourbon and whiskey...
I don't. Seemingly the only one I like is Fireball.. Which some consider Texas water.. Never been a huge drinker anyway.. I have a one Beer limit self imposed and it's very rare that I don't adhere to that.

So I got my replacement fitbit in the mail. The new firmware will tell you the time by just turning your wrist to look at it. Before you had to either tap it a couple times (which didn't work well) or hit the button.
I sold my FitBit a few months back. I just could not get into wearing it. It's been nearly 20+ years since I wore a watch.. while not cumbersome,.. it just gets in the way.

Happy Monday everyone!

Morning - Is it Friday yet?
I echo this sentiment.

Getting ready to drive @ryanov to the airport in Managua.
Just a quickie weekend, eh?
Generally is. He had over four days this time.

It is a holiday here. No school, no maid service.

I checked out a few linked in profiles earlier, just because.
It's rare that I do that because it tells people who's visited. -

I always wore watches, so its nice because its smaller than a guys watch.

I got the Fitbit Charge and I really like it. The most useful feature for me is the vibrating alarm, lol.

Just went through and cleaned up all of the times that the "security" tag was misspelled as "secuity."

Extremely grumpy. Cut the tip off my left ring finger and typing is a pain

Ouch. How much? Like healing or "now your finger is short?"
-
@scottalanmiller everything in front of the nail short, and I keep my nails well trimmed. Could have been way worse.

Owch... What happened?
-
@dafyre making split pea soup with bacon and smoked double roasted ham. Preparing the garlic I got a little over eager with the CHOP CHOP action. Managed to keep the blood out of the soup and it tastes great so.... partial win?
-
@MattSpeller If the food is good, then it's a total win. Nothing wrong with your food requiring a little blood, sweat, or tears, or all 3... just perhaps, as you did, keep those out of the food, lol.

We've got some crazy traffic going on today. Like quadruple our average load. No idea what is driving all of the traffic today, especially so late in the day. I was wondering what topics were driving the traffic the most and here they are right at the moment...

By the way, this topic in the last hour or so just past NodeBB's other forum that was 1.4m views ahead of us when MangoLassi went live. We did nearly 2m views on this topic while their busiest topic did 500K. The degree to which we are the biggest forum is rather significant now.
