About 10/40 people showed up today because of snow. Definitely going home early.
So warm here, I only needed a jacket because of the fain.
And you can't turn the fain off?
I am feigning interest in your fain posts...

I don't even need a jacket today... in Ohio... the beginning of February. We haven't really had a winter here this year, 3 inches of snow once that melted the next day.

This is a pretty silly post. Can't tell if the vendor is trolling or really that stupid.

Seems like they don't know their market at all. To add to it, then advertise on SW. Seems like they need to advertise more on business sites.
They seem like one of Gartner's core demographic.

In my case it would always be that way because reader is part of a standard build.

Preparing for a cut over from one ISP router to a new one to support our to be increased internet service.
On our part should be a simple cable move, on the ISP's side of things it will be a bit more difficult.
Hopefully we'll be out of here in under an hour.

This.
I just always put it there, users don't know any wiser either.

We still have 2 XP machines.... until today. One of them just went tits up (no boot drive error), and I will be glad to get this POS out of here. Now if we could just dump the customer we have that "requires" us to use IE6 and an OLD version of Team Viewer to access their stuff...
Time to harvest the magnets from the hard drive, and maybe the PSU for a bench PSU

Why? IT sellers advertising to IT buyers. SW is an ideal fit I would think.

That they do.

Any idea who ChipG is on SW? He claims to be someone that changes his name so that we won't know who he is, but claims he was my employer and fired me, multiple times (um, what?) I was once laid off by a Syrian company when they went bankrupt, but that was it in IT. I was fired from a hotel in the 1990s, but once the owner figured out that I was fired by the person stealing from the till because I was the one person that knew who was stealing from the till, they hired me back at a huge consulting rate. So I guess he's claiming to be the person that stole from the till - which would make him a 50 year old prostitute in NY (yes, the hotel's shift manager was a prostitute, that's why she took the hotel job to be near clients as it was a truck stop.)
He just went on a rampage telling me that there is nothing, anywhere, ever that suggests RAID 10 is okay to use with four drives. Zero technical info, just ranting. Mods got him fast, but I'm wondering who the heck he is.
-
@scottalamiller ummm ok then....
If you are an employer and keep hiring the same person and firing them multiple times. Then you are the idiot -
@scottalanmiller He sounds like he's just trying to troll you scott.
-
Oh wait, I muted him, that's why he disappeared, LOL. Mods probably didn't get him yet.

Ya think? I still want to know who he is, though.
