I really hate Microsoft.
For decades Ctrl+Alt+Delete to log in.
Now I do it instinctually even though it does nothing special any more.
Seems easy enough for me to do... i hit enter, click my mouse, or drag the screen up to remove the lock screen.
It's exactly the same on my Fedora computer, literally no difference at all.
What's the problem?
On my Fedora it seems to happen reliably and instantly. On my Windows boxes there seems to be so much lag that I can't tell if it has worked or not.
I've not seen that on any Windows 10 machine. Try just hitting enter... the lock screen should instantly go away (in a swiping way)
Yeah, always seems so slow. I always have to work remotely because I only work on other peoples' Windows, like its terrible menu problems, every little action is way too graphically intensive for something that should involve nothing more than a line of text.
Oh, yeah remotely it doesn't reliably capture the key to remove the lock screen.
You should have specified.I can't comment on Fedora that way, as I never remotely access the lock screen of my Fedora workstations... and is non-existent on servers... so yeah.
So who knows.

Windows is unique in having this particular problem from what I've seen. Everything from the lock screen to the menu is almost completely unusable over any kind of remote connection because of the totally useless graphic changes going on. And things like searching for applications is impossible with Windows' random "show it, take it away" shit show.

I'll do a test tonight.
First I will TeamViewer from my Fedora laptop to my Windows laptop while it's on the lock screen.
Then I will TeamViewer from my Windows laptop to my Fedora laptop while it's on the lock screen.
I'll put together a quick and tasteless video comparison.

@dustinb3403 Except it is the correct way.
Is it? I thought that it was no longer considered correct.
Depends of the computer, if it came from an upgrade you still use it, if clean install no need. Or if you enforce It through GPO.

This has been my experience as well.

Just saw the 400 year old "angel" oak tree on John's island. Truly amazing.
I saw this 600 year old tree in 2005.
Was really cool.
I have yet to visit California (more than a layover in LAX) or Yosemite, but I really want to see the Sequoia trees. Just imagine standing next to a 3000 year old tree.

It is incredible. Ave of the Giants is jaw dropping. You can also go to the Olympic National Rain forest in Washington to see similarly huge and old trees.

I wonder why some SAMIT videos get transcripts thanks to YouTube and some do not.

Oh, you think maybe some threshold causes it per video?

No idea, honestly. But everything with YouTube is views and/or subscribers. So it is a decent guess.

We did Tetris and MarioKart challenges when I was a kid.

President Taft, don't get stuck in the tub!

This one is designed so friends can have a tea party while you take a dump in the same room.
One lump or two, dear?
Two, tee hee.

Designer: What are you thinking as your bathroom motif?
Customer: Industrial Romanian train station restroom.
Designer: Say no more.
