Comcast is STILL down.
Seems like you'd do better hooking that place up to somebody's cell phone or something.

I wonder if there are any Ubiquity devices that support a 4G modem as a second WAN connection.

They all do. We actually priced one out today.

Wondering why Mediawiki still installs to
/var/www/wiki
instead of/var/www/html/wiki
on Fedora 27. -
Just finished a video interview. It was the first I've done like that where the system presents a question and then you record yourself answering it. When you're happy with your response you submit it. An interesting solution to the phone screening. Not necessarily better, but a decent solution for a carefully staffed organization.

Just installed Fedora 27 on my office desktop instead of Deepin.
Any issues with using ScreenConnect / ConnectWise on it? I can't seem to get it to run on Linux Mint

I have had this conversation on ML before.
ScreenConnect works just fine on Fedora + Cinnamon. Both the installed agent and as a tech reaching out.

No issues of which I know. I used SC from Deepin all this time and worked fine.

Any reason you don't run Fedora?

Computer with only 2GB of memory,.. and no option to increase. (netbook) or another computer with 2GB of memory and not practical to add more.

How does that affect Mint vs. Fedora? I assume you are using Cinnamon on both. Same overhead.

I've heard of this as an interview method/screening process for hospitals over here. Never thought it'd be also used for IT people.
