Flat out with Monday Morning Facepalms. Meatware Mayhem.
What's meatware mayhem????
Meatware is a term for end users. They can also be referred to as Layer 8 problems.
Mayhem, in this case, we just replaced our phone system and the panic merchants (who refused to read the notification emails) were all in a flap. -

You're probably right, but @nadnerB is from WA and they have some pretty weird sayings over there
It's the distance...
The great Bender of New New York, calls people Meatbags, but as we're dealing with software and hardware, I felt that meatware was a more applicable term. -

Layer 8 problem, never heard that either, my rock, the one I hide under, is doing a great job of shielding me from all this new fangled terminology.

I had to google that, I really don't know any of these damn abbreviations.
I used to wonder why everyone referred to their top loader washing machines when they typed TL;DR????
I do however know what FIGJAM stands for, just ask me.

I donβt need to know that. Like most I have a number of small offices that use spectrum coax. I have not heard anything yet though, hereβs hoping.

Comcast is my nemesis. The support phone call ends up either in a transfer to nowhere or my boss laughing at me for screaming at the the Robo-Slut, "GIVE ME THE HUMAN!"

Wow, that's funny. In our area, Spectrum is fast and rock solid and everybody else is crap.

I have a similar experience with Comcast. Where I live, the residential side is great. The business side is terrible.

office#1: "bad" cable modem; Spectrum replaced modem no issues rest of the day (so far)
office#2: 'hmm no idea"; tech replaced modem, replaced connectors, replaced cable going to street connection (its underground we have a pipe with a pull line in it) and its working now but he was seeing very low signal. The tech escalated to their transmission techs so we will see what happens. -

had an issue like this once - it was caused by other equipment further up the line injecting noise.
