Anyone here ever work with MX Guard Dog spam filtering? Their pricing looks pretty good, and I really would like our company to step up from the hosted-in Alabama service we currently have (my bosses are way too nostalgic and keep vendors because "that's who we had when we were getting started"). Or does anyone have better suggestions for a hosted spam filter?
We made an account and were about to try it out, but we got Zimbra's SPAM filtering working really well and decided that an extra service didn't make sense for us.
Is Zimbra available as a hosted service? We don't want or need something we have to do anything more than log into.
I'm sure that it is. We used to host it ourselves commercially for others, we can't be unique. We don't anymore, so I'm not offering It just wasn't profitable. But it's a business model that you can make work at scale. I'd expect there to be lots of providers.
From Zimbra themselves, no I don't believe that they offer any hosting.
Bummer. We are looking for a turnkey service.
Would be nice.

I never completed Destiny 1.

I'm really enjoying Destiny 2. Haven't had a lot of time with it.... but the pacing is just about right for what I'm looking for.

I have incorporated rules for alert spam, which has helped.

Something I've never been good (not sure if that's the best word) at, is knowing the best place to put AP's in a building.

I use Ekahau HeatMapper. You place an AP in an area, make a heat map using Ekahau HeatMapper, and adjust the location and map again.
-
Looks like the review sites are liking NetSpot a bit more than Ekahau these days. I'll have to look into it.

Small rant. WTF people are leaving the built-in administrator account logged in and unlocked on the VM's console.

That's as bad as Doctors leaving EHRs logged in anywhere they go.

Well VM consoles are a bit harder for random people to access.

True. The principle of the matter is what bothers me: People not thinking to logout of an administrator account once they're finished, or at least lock the screen when they step away.
-
Yeah admin console logged in on a VM is a low risk solution and something that can be easily fixed via system policy.
