@JaredBusch Did you get lucky and your speedometer is just faded out or did you dim the lights so as to not publicly disclose your speeding?

nah - just burn and replace.. unless it's a newer machine that was downgraded.

Too much information in disparate programs to do in the time frame required. But yes, that will be happening in the future.

Why would downgraded matter?

Why would downgraded matter?
Because that means it’s less likely the computer is 7+ years old

Why does the age of the hardware matter? If it runs Windows 7, it can run Windows 10. Doesn't really need more resources.

I’ve upgraded many OptiPlex 380 and 790 to Windows 10.

Yeah, we upgrade lots of really old software. No reason not to.

pondering life choices and trying to decide what's next.
Also wondering why I can't seem to stay focused on getting certifications as I know they make me more valuable.. dont know..
An wise person once told me, "You can figure out what drains your energy by looking at the things you procrastinate." It is likely that the certs you're looking at doing aren't in things you really enjoy doing, for whatever reason. Once you accept that fact you can evaluate if this is just a task that has to be done even if you don't, or if there needs to be another path taken.
Im at the age where I dont know what I want to do and where I want to go.
It's all trying to figure stuff out .What you want to do changes every few years, it does for me anyway. Follow your interests is probably the most reliable thing to do. You have to be able to get out of bed wanting to go to work, more so when you're younger.
I've just spent the past 10 years purely going to work for the money. I live in a rural area with very little IT around so I've had to sit in this job as it's all there is in this area. 10 years with no chance of promotion, no chance of wage increase, elementary work with very little challenge. No peer interaction, there is job security however. It's done my head in a few times.
I've only got another 5 years to sit out before I'm pulling the plug and leaving the workforce.
If I had my time again, I'd, I'd, I don't know actually.
I got a headache now, too much moaning.

Haha, that can be quite funny. Seen them fall asleep and throw up in that show.
Not sure I'd want to be on it.
