Yes to the first. I used the information there to run the mkrequest.

I haven't tried without a password.

Same error when no password is used in the mkrequest command.

uninstalling plex and reinstalling plex fixed the issue. sad i didnt fix it manually though

So...any thoughts on best practice for Plex setup but with >30TB of content?

That's a weird way to say it. "Back" would imply that they used to be in house. CentOS was a third party and Red Hat bought them.

That's a standard systemctl cannot start message. And it is just telling you that you need to tail /var/log/messages to see what the error was.
