Was just told via email: "You need to install my software for this site to run, here is how"
We don't install third party software that we don't support, i.e. this software in this email.
....
Ill repeat my statement this morning: It's defiantly Monday...

I have recently taken a huge forray into making NextCloud my go-to for everything...
I'm now using NextCloud for my book marks (with a nice Add to NextCloud bookmarklet), my Email (using the Rainloop plugin), Task Manager for the To Do list, Deck for any Project-ish type stuff I need to work on, and the NextCloud News RSS feed reader... Oh, and of course the file sync stuff...
I'm enjoying this -- quite possibly a bit too much.

We just had an insane storm roll through here... lightning, heavy rain, wind, power flickering... you know, all the fun stuff.

It was short but intense. Doesn't look like there is any damage, but fingers crossed for your local power grid. We got lucky.
Edit: now there is about 6 inches of standing water on the bocce ball court.

CPU uptime metric on Windows 10 1803 task manager = incorrect or broken.
Just rebooted two computers, logged in, check this timer. One still says 3 days uptime.
One still says 2:21:xx:xx. -

One still says 2:21:xx:xx.Could it be related to the fast startup setting?

I am pretty sure that it uses the hibernation file, so it being unplugged wouldn't matter.

I'm having fun dealing with billing and "office work" today. Very necessary, but not my favorite.

Yearly audit of IT Assets.

One of the golf courses we support had the kids working at the pool just leave everything open in the rain storms over the weekend. The magic smoke got released for a computer that got a good soaking. Somehow, the other one was still working.

Just finished softball game and now posting my small but useful powershell script for default Redirected printers in Server 2016, which if not done you get to use the Microsoft Print to PDF printer....

Thanks @wrx7m ever since my PC got 1803 it immediately goes into advanced diags upon boot up and I have to shut it down, then reboot it to start it up. Fast startup has killed it in the past so I hope this will fix the latest MS stuff up.
