I don't want to be at work today, fighting yet another cold that my kid brought home from daycare. . .
So now I'm on a benadryl espresso downer-up and in a fog.
Ug - hope you kick it soon.
I was (maybe still am) sick for 4+ weeks. The first 13 days were mostly just feeling blah - day 14 - home sick, week 3, missed 3 days of work, week 4, mostly feeling blah again - this time with drainage... this week, feeling slightly better than blah.
-
Yeah this is all head congestion, but I'm literally getting off of yet another cold she brought home from a few weeks ago which had everything but congestion.
It's just a crappy ride right now.
-
Oh and my coworker left early because he was feeling ill too. . . so yay me.

One of our VMs went wild today, still not sure why. Very high CPU usage on different processes, maybe a bad Windows update. @StarWind_Software immediately sent me a mail about a possible issue, offering assistance (VM runs on a StarWind HCA cluster). Love your service guys.

Preparing a couple of new machines with FOG and PDQ Deploy.
Which means I'm going to get a coffee and let others do the dirty work

Dealing with a website that was deployed on CentOS 7 and compatibility issues. Good thing it's not "live" yet so I might just force it to be re-deployed on a current OS, like CentOS 8 or Fedora Server.

So our Vendor just told me to "map a drive here: Q: Quikbooks"
You cant map something that isn't there!
I putDrive: Q
Folder: QuickBooks
and even tried the default that was already there\\owner-pc\qb import
When I Told them that it wasn't working I'm the one whos wrong.I'm already over today and half way over tomorrow...

Even looked in the file explorer for these folders; "well it worked before the firewall was installed"
So that means it's your Firewall more than it's my problem.. -
