The entire kitchen and pantry are lost (all of her stored food.) Refrigerator, stove, dining room chairs, shelves, pots, pans, dishes.
I hate to hear that. But those are things that can be replaced. Glad wasn’t worse.
Yeah, no one was home.
wow - that's really unfortunate - is she going to be able to recover?

I don't know. I don't think she even really went home. Once the fire was out she returned to work. We doubled our all time busiest day today and she's one of the managers. So she and everyone she would normally deal with for this was at the hotel working. In a few days I'm sure we'll have an idea of the extent of the damage and what it will take to rebuild and replace. I'll probably start a GoFundMe to help her raise the needed funds. My guess is that the total losses will need around $2000 since multiple appliances were lost. but in the interim she has the hotel facilities.

Drinking an awesome IPA at Malai Kitchen. Ipa is called Thai IPA, brewed with Lemongrass, ginger, and lots of other ingredients. They brew their beer in-house, and food is awesome too.

About to get outside and do some filming. It's a "gorgeous" day. I could use some not gorgeous days for a change, though.

I welcome the rain in Jefferson. Washes the allergens out of the air.

Man, 54F and rain sounds like nice. I just went to my salsa class and it is 96F and humid.

I realize it's a thing you get adjusted to. But with the seasons here (in Kentucky), I don't. We have had so many days with a swing - you can't figure out what to carry with you. One day it's 70 and sunny and in thirty-six hours it snowed...
at 96F with humidity... I can't breathe.. I'm just not adjusted to it.

96F is more than a bit warm - but MAN - sign me up for that humidity, I'm practically a fish in that regards... I love to chew my air (with water in it).
