Oh man I loved kicking people's ass in that game.
I had a NT 4 server setup in our house with two 56k modems dialing out through it, and and router roles setup. My roommate and I had computers next to each other in the kitchen (bachelors don't need tables).
and we just kicked peoples' asses. because we joined maps together on battle.net.
Then a few months later we got the beta install of Cable internet from Charter. one of the first in the region.
Poor tech had no idea wtf to do to connect my server.
