We got freezing rain last night. Everything was covered in a pretty thick layer of ice this morning. Took my wife and I 10 minutes to chip it all off my car.
The screen door in back of the house got frozen shut with a nice 1/4" to 1/2" of ice last week. Thankfully it all melted the other day, most winters when that happened I'd be clearing the ice off by hand, somehow.

I was soooo happy when I finally cleaned out the garage enough to park inside
I really need to do the same. My Explorer was too tall for the garage door, but the Subaru will fit in nicely. If I move a bunch of junk.

One thing I have always lived by...A garage is a house for the car.

Very true... and I have no excuses, my garage is a double. I still have tons of crap around from moving in... last summer.

I need a drink - this has been a rough 3+ days trying to get this restore to work... but, FINALLY it is working!

You're still not as bad as me. I didn't park inside for 7 years.
I still have a lot more to get rid of... currently have to pull the car out to allow a passenger to get in, unless they sit in the back

I am lucky where I have 2 sheds, so I have a summer shed and a winter shed.
The only thing in my garage (other than a few bins) is my snow blower...which will go into the winter shed once I no longer need it. I put the snow blower behind my car when there is snow and in front when there isn't. It's a good system.

Blasphemy. I think I've parked a car in my garage once or twice. That space is far too valuable to park cars there that can exist perfectly well outside in the driveway!

I agree... The only use I've ever seen for a garage is to have it converted into another room in the house!

I use mine to work on cars, set up band practice space in the warmer portion of the year, and use as a general workshop. If I want more house, I'll build an addition.
