My dad and I are about to start cooking a Brunch for the family. Eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, pancakes, ham.

So I was thinking about having anchovies on my pizza today. Never had them, but I eat and love sardines. There is a great traditional pizzeria by my work that offers them. Has anyone had them on their pizza before? If so what was your experience.

Sure had them plenty. They are okay. I donβt like the texture mixed with pizza. I like sardines as well.

@scottalanmiller The larger ones seem to overpower everything else. The smaller anchovies seemed to be better. You still got the salty goodness from them but it didn't overpower the rest of the ingredients. I think if I made a pizza at home and used quality anchovies that it would be really good. The texture of them didn't bother me but the texture of my food doesn't bother me too much.

I'd prefer to eat the pizza and then eat the anchovies as two separate items in most cases. I like both, but not necessarily together.
