Learning Linux
hello Everyone. I am working on Learning Linux
For the first place yeah its bit difficult for me cause we don't use Linux here at my Workplace.
I already got a study guide from a fellow IT .
And of course SAM introduced me to Linux .
Anyone have a great Idea? I mean I know many of you here started to learn from Very Basic.
Thanks -

July 25, 2014 15th Annual System Administrator Appreciation Day
Happy SysAdmin Day!
Wait… what exactly is SysAdmin Day? Oh, it’s only the single greatest 24 hours on the planet… and pretty much the most important holiday of the year. It’s also the perfect opportunity to pay tribute to the heroic men and women who, come rain or shine, prevent disasters, keep IT secure and put out tech fires left and right.
At this point, you may be thinking, “Great. I get it. My sysadmin is a rock star. But now what?” Glad you asked! Proper observation of SysAdmin Day includes (but is not limited to):
Cake & Ice cream Pizza Cards Gifts Words of gratitude Custom t-shirts celebrating the epic greatness of your SysAdmin(s) Balloons Streamers Confetti

RE: Learning Linux
After a lots of thing happened for the past 8 months i just realized that, i shouldn't let the stress at work stops me from dreaming what i want.
Like learning other stuff ( Linux,Html5, and etc) which is not applicable in our current environment.
And as per the great @scottalanmiller i can still learn/update other IT stuff even I'm not working in IT, I just really need to give my dedication in learning. -

Lords describe Right to be Forgotten as 'unworkable, unreasonable, and wrong'
The House of Lords has slammed the EU ruling establishing a ‘right to be forgotten’ as ‘wrong in principle’
The European Union’s “right to be forgotten” ruling is “unworkable, unreasonable, and wrong in principle”, according to a report by a committee of the House of Lords.Published on Wednesday, the Lords’ Home Affairs, Health and Education EU Sub-Committee’s report strongly criticised the court of justice of the European Union for its ruling, which created a requirement for firms such as internet search provider Google to remove outdated information.
The committee argued that not only was the ruling problematic, the 1995 directive it was based on is itself out-dated, and calls on the government to continue its fight to ensure that “the updated Regulation no longer includes any provision on the lines of the Commission’s ‘right to be forgotten’ or the European Parliament’s ‘right to erasure’”.

Although we should not that several contributors here that are quite active like @Carnival-Boy and @Breffni-Potter and @akp982 are British, not American, and while @dominica and I are American citizens we do not primarily live there. @joy and @nadnerB are busy contributors too, also not American. @MattSpeller is Canadian. @Ambarishrh is in the UAE. @nic lives in the US but isn't an American. Just some examples that I thought of quickly. I'm sure there are tons of non-Americans here that are busy posting. Certainly more American than not, but probably not as dramatically American as it can seem.
So true @scottalanmiller , I find a lot of people here are very helpful not only from US, but from different parts of the world lols. Just make sure to explain your problem loud and clear, to get the best answer.
PS. I'm still in the process of learning -

Installing VirtualBox inside a virtual machine?
Anyone have you tried running the virtual box inside a virtual machine?
I found this forum saying it's not supported : https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=31408
but some people here said they tried running another virtualbox on a virtual machine.
