If that is true, it means it was fatter people than in years past. They were past capacity and had to turn people away and a couple sneaked on after they had closed for capacity as it was. And at least three couldn't make it because they had someone unable to make the trip as quickly as possible. So they weren't just over boat capacity, but had many attempt and fail to get on the boat.

but I think they've been "at capacity" every year. They make a big deal of it being first come first serve.

I might suggest you look at some conferences in Florida. I know VMware was talking about one in Tampa maybe in the past few months perhaps? I'm pretty sure Microsoft has one coming up in the next month or two in Orlando as well, and I want to say I heard there is to be a Linux-centric conference also in Orlando before years' end.

Yes, it is very disappointing - particularly because I've been a few times and look forward to it as a venue to see all the UK and Euro friends I've made through the Spiceworks community.
Booking way in advance I am able to save $500 - $700 on my plane fare. I was asked to email the event organizers because I had already made travel bookings, so I did. We'll see what they end up doing to help folks in my situation.

I cut my pumpkin in half and then steamed it. Then I scraped out all the pumpkin goodness and separated the seeds. I took the shell and put it outside for the squirrels.

I seasoned the cooked pumpkin with olive oil, salt, and pepper. It was tasty!

You never know till you get more information about a position. If you are looking to make a move and see something remotely interesting - it's worth a query. Don't discount a badly written job description as representative of the whole department - it could be that an IT person didn't write it.

Suggestion: check the HP site and see if the unit needs a firmware update. Fairly easy to do through CLI.

I knew a guy who used to pull the clicking drive and pop it in a freezer for 30 minutes. Sometimes it worked.

The Macs are NOT printing through IP - I had them connecting through Bonjour. (unless it was changed by someone else)
