RE: Office 365: Mailbox question
It will depend a lot on how the mailbox is used. Is it a shared resource? Is it something that's more of a distribution list?

Portland is just like Portlandia, right?
Very nearly. I need to go visit there again soon.

Then have Scott move me to east coast to work at NTG, drink beer, and fade into the sunset.
I resemble that remark (including the sunset!), other than already being on the east coast.
Sometimes the beer runs out, sometimes you have to drink it by yourself, and sometimes the sunset is obscured by clouds. -

Sometimes missing your dream job can be a blessing in disguise. I came in second for what I thought was my dream job, but today I'm glad I didn't get it.
I agree on this. I missed out on two seemingly "dream" jobs, both of which (in hindsight) would have made me miserable in short order. I'm a firm believer in experiences shaping the way to opportunities that are better in the long run - a good example is my current gig. I have flexibility and opportunities for growth I never imagined, in addition to working with positively brilliant people every day. I had no idea I'd be where I am now 5 years ago.

Yes, but they thought we'd have flying cars and self-drying clothes by now too. BTTF wasn't right either. We can't let delusional expectations make us all cynics.

RE: Fleeing from Snow Leopard
The Fruit Company tends to EoL their stuff after 3-4 years. I'm surprised they haven't dumped support for snow leopard sooner.

RE: Anyone using MS CRM 2013 online?
What kind of workflow are you trying to build?
There is some information on workflows here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn531067.aspx -
RE: Pissy Reporter on Amazon Fire Phone
Poorly written. Seems like the author has a personal grudge. I'm not sure the Fire phone is any more spectacular than any other smartphone device on the market.

Opening for a Jr. Sys admin in DFW
A friend of mine asked me to post. His company has an opening for a Jr Sys Admin position in the DFW area. From what it was described to me, there is some helpdesk and jr-level sys admin work. They want someone with at least 3 years experience so they don't have to do any hand-holding in a new hire, kind of fast-paced environment. No idea about pay rate.
Reply if interested and I'll forward you the contact information.

RE: LG G3 Phone Surpasses Standard Television Resolution
That's a really nice display. Still too big for me to operate with one hand, which is why I am soon ditching my Note 3. (which is the same size as the LG G3)
Can they squash all those pixels into something a little smaller? -

@Katie you are only weightless for like 20 minutes or so from what I have read on this program.
For that kind of money, I want a longer ride. And astronaut ice cream.

RE: Inside Virgin Galactic's newest passenger spaceship
I wish there was more information available about the flight itself. As in, duration. Will there be an in-flight meal? Would it be like the astronaut food? What happens if you have to go to the bathroom in-flight?
These are important logistics! -
RE: MangoLassi Meetup in NYC
@JaredBusch That's a really good rate for staying in the 5 Boroughs. Elmhurst is kind of out of the way as far as Queens in concerned. You'll have to cross to NYC bridges to get there, traveling form the west. (GWB? Queensboro?) The bridges can get spendy in terms of tolls. Make sure you get a subway pass if it's near a subway stop. ("near" = 10 blocks or so)
