Common issues in Quickbooks
In the MSP world, often enough we are called upon to ferret out issues with Quickbooks, including ancillary third-party plug-ins.
What have been the worst issues you've been called upon to resolve?
I think the most frustrating ones to troubleshoot are the error codes that stem from multi-user access. -

My sun conjure would love this!
Beautiful bird! I love parrots, but don't like cleaning up after them. My roommate in NY had a cockatiel named Kramer that used to poop all over the apartment.

RE: grumble grumble grumble grrr
I need sleep to function. Not a morning person, but I get up and make it happen. Sometimes this means 2-3 cups of coffee.
I start getting sleepy anywhere between 2200 and 2300 hours. -
RE: Open Source Rivals to Splunk in InfoWorld
I didn't even know there were competitors to Splunk.
Have played around with their free version, will be interested to see how the others work. -
RE: Cooking with mango
@Minion-Queen Oh yum! Haven't had one of those in years - I bet you could skip the sugar, too.

Cooking with mango
Might as well start a thread for mango foody goodness.
I'll start with a Mango Lassi:
Ingredients
1 cup plain yogurt (use Greek yogurt for thicker drink)
1/2 cup milk
1 cup chopped mango (peeled and stone removed)
4 teaspoons sugar, to taste
A dash of ground cardamom (optional)Method
Put mango, yogurt, milk, sugar and cardamom into a blender and blend thoroughly, then pour into individual glasses, and serve. Can sprinkle with a little cardamom. -
RE: Chocolate Chip cookies made with honey
@ajstringham White chocolate is not real chocolate, IMHO.

RE: Tired of winter?
Snow here is very rare. Rain, on the other hand...
...in the summer you can set your watch by it. from June-August, it rains nearly every day some time between 3 and 6pm.
Then it's humid and buggy the rest of the evening. -

I'm Katie, I live in Tampa Bay, FL. I am the Help Desk Manager at NTG.
I own a mango tree, but it will be a few years before it can produce fruits.
In fact, there is a race between my mango tree and avocado trees to see which fruits first. -

RE: Chocolate Chip cookies made with honey
@Bill-Kindle Occasionally I bake cookies and other goodies to share at my Spice Corps meetings. There's nobody at home to eat them otherwise.

RE: Chocolate Chip cookies made with honey
@Dominica I agree - soft cookies are better than hard ones.
-
RE: High-tech toilet seats: no hands or paper required
@scottalanmiller I would need to build an addition with an extra bathroom in order to install one of these in my house. Maybe the next digs can have one.

RE: Chocolate Chip cookies made with honey
@Dominica I think chocolate chip cookies in any iteration are YUMMY. How is the flavour when using honey relative to refined sugar?
-
RE: I feel really at home here in MangoLassi
@Bill-Kindle I agree - it's a much nicer interface!

RE: Anyone else laughing about the title of this board?
@scottalanmiller The image happened to be larger than anticipated. I need to start re-sizing.
