Thanks guys, I picked up 2 from Aventis Systems. Took them a while to ship it, but should have it next week. TrippLite was awesome and is sending me the boxes for free to actually ship my UPS up since it would only cost me $12 to send up.

@Pete-S - yea those boxes where kinda high in price.. I might be able to get some for free, just gotta wait, but no guarantee, so why I was checking here. To get a box to me, a quick estimate would cost $30-$40 to me, and about $40-60 back to here (via 2nd day, possibly cheaper by ground).. my job has an account and contract with FedEx so shipping out of the state is pretty cheap..

@scottalanmiller, If I can get the box for cheap, then yes it is. I also know the condition and usage of the servers, so kinda wanna keep them.

Was just hoping someone had a box or 2 laying around from new server installs.

@travisdh1 OK, Thanks.. I will look at them to. Its a shipping auction site thing.. I think thats what the show Shipping Wars used. Not sure. but yea.. I am liking this option.. Thanks so much for suggestion.

@scottalanmiller yea.. im closer to family that way.. Mom getting older and might need more help. I am actually here now on vacation, but head back to Hawaii tomorrow.

Because it's Hawaii. High cost, high crime, no jobs, low pay. It's awful beyond the pay by the second tourist trap stuff.

Exactly what Scott said... Cost of living, Crime, crappy jobs, horribly low pay.. I will really miss it, got some great people (of course will stay in touch), but i cant afford it.. costing me more to live than I a making. So I will be leaving around June after my hanai cousin graduates high school, and tie up loose ends.. Already looking for jobs here. My brother have some of his friends/contacts keeping an eye out as well, but cant really apply till the time gets close.

@black3dynamite I looked at the briefly, I will look more at them if I can't get anything.. depends how much they charge for shipping to me. They have other boxes I would need, so will take a closer look.

@travisdh1 I will look at that, as it is in a rack. Altho the shipping rates are deeply discount for the company I currently work for. For the box @black3dynamite mentioned, it would cost me $45 to ship the server. But Freight might come out cheaper than ordering a box and then shipping it in the long run and I would get to keep the rack (as I was initially going to sell it). Do you have any freight company suggestions?

@black3dynamite thanks.. I saw those.. Trying to see if I can get free or cheap boxes first.. The 2nd link is an option, 1st is $150 just for shipping.. I have cheaper shipping rates, which is why I am trying to find a used one. This is for personal, not business so trying to keep it as cheap as possible

I am going to be moving later this year, and am trying to find 2 - 2U server boxes to ship my 2 HP DL 380 G8 servers from Hawaii to Arkansas. Wondering if any one has spares laying around. I will pay for shipping (FedEx Ground) to get it from you to me. Original HP DL 380 boxes would be best, any boxes that would fit a 2U unit would be great.

I have a possible new customer, who got hit with the rapid ransomware. He has no backup. Wondering if any one has or knows how to decrypt the files. I am hoping someone came across this. thanks

@dustinb3403 Yes, from what I am understanding. There is alot more columns, and hundreds of rows. Above is all I was told.. I am waiting on more info, and the actual spreadsheet.

Our accounting dept is trying to do the following. Any suggestions as I would think there is a way, its just how would it be done? Excel Macro?

Below is a download which separates the acct # into 3 separate fields. Can the fields be manipulated so the it is in the format in red? There are hundreds of accounts we need to do this for. I have no clue how to word a google search. lol thanks for any help
